It has many advantages to be a DMO customer! Our customers can benefit from a lot of things. As a good service is one of our top priorities, you always have a personal contact partner to talk to.
You don’t like long waiting times? Neither do we: We process your applications particularly fast. If we get your application on a weekday (Monday to Friday) until 4 pm, we will process it on the same day and you will promptly get an answer from us! You can also log in to our customer portal to access your digital proof of insurance in German or English.
Apart from our focus on a good service, you will also profit from our cooperation with the MFSD (Modellflugsportverband Deutschland). If you only want to fly privately and in Germany, and if your drone or model weighs under 2 kg, you don’t need the EU proof of competence (“drone pilot license”) or a training certificate as a DMO customer! In contrast to the open category, you don’t need to keep the 150 m distance to residential areas under the EU proof of competence. FPV flights below 30 m altitude are allowed without spotter.
